It is with a heavy heart that we are nearing the end of the 60 year land lease for the Surf Court Motel, Inc. The lease expires on Jan. 9, 2009 and a new lease will not be available. It has been an honor to serve our community and the many, many families and friends over these years. We bought the Surf Court Motel in 1979 and are very sad that we are the ones to have to do the final steps.
We are selling everything that is in the rooms, plus the pool equipment and all the bushes and plants. There are so many items that are good for so many uses, and it is the largest "garage sale" ever. We are still open for business and hope that many of our customers and friends will find time to spend a night with us and buy a momento that spurs memories of many good times over the years.
Our memories are lots of friends, lots of laughter, and lots of good times. We hope to hear from many of you and we are so proud of what we have represented and done for the city of Rockport.
